As travelholics and adventure junkies, looking for something to do in East Idaho the last 8 years has been somewhat of a challenge, especially during the winter!
If you are the same and looking for something to do on a rainy or snowy day, we recommend the Museum if Idaho!
Our kids love walking around and looking at the exhibits, as well as watching the short films they always have going! I was surprised at how engaged they were as they watched short films at the edge of their seat, so curious to learn more.
The highlight for our kids was the interactive game on natural selection where the kids got to interact with a giant screen tapping and running around, while learning about history and science.
The museum is currently under expansion (June 2020) so there isn’t as much to do, but we still had a very enjoyable experience with interactive And still exhibits alike.
With the museums close proximity to downtown Idaho Falls, we also recommend grabbing a bite to eat downtown for lunch or dinner!
