We went to an acrobatic show in Beijing, and it was absolutely incredible! Aside from the Great Wall, it was my favorite attraction we visited in Beijing. It was comprised of a variety of 10 to 15 minute acts that appealed to all different audience members. There were women balancing plates while walking on each others heads, motorcyclists in a cage, and parkour guys flipping all around and through hoops. I honestly enjoyed every act, and a few of them really had me on my toes. It was amazing to see all the different talents and physical strength of the performers. If you ever head to Beijing, I would highly recommend the Beijing Acrobatic Show!
We attended the show late, after dinner, and the kids were pretty exhausted since we had just been out and about all day, so they fell asleep on our way to the show. At first I was really disappointed, because we had to pay for the kids to get in, and Ellie was really excited to see the pretty girls in their costumes, but with them asleep Drew and I were able to sit and really enjoy the show with out any distractions.
After the show we hopped on the bus and headed back to the hotel. It seems like every night has ended with us totally exhausted and ready to crash! I guess that means we're enjoying all that China has to offer!
